Thursdays February 1st -May 17th, 6-8pm. Ages 8-13 (We need at least 20 kids to enroll in order for this class to run)
Based on the classic animated film, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS is a fur-raising adventure featuring an outrageous villain and 101 of the most adorable heroes to set their paws onstage. Pet owners, Roger and Anita live happily in London with their Dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita, stalwart dogs devoted to raising their puppies. Everything is quiet until the monstrous Cruella De Vil, plots to steal the puppies for her new fur coat. The Dalmatians rally all the dogs of London for a daring rescue of the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen.
Tuesdays February 20th-May 15th, 6:30-8pm. Ages 9-18
Comedy improv is a great experience for actors and non-actors alike. Improv helps to build quick thinking, public speaking, trust and cooperation among peers, and most of all it’s fun! Students will focus on aspects of comedy such as characters, plot, physical movement, trust, and more. The ground rules we follow lay a strong foundation for an easy understanding of improv, and different games and exercises each week provide variety. No experience necessary to come and have an awesome and hilarious time every week.
Wednesdays February 28th-May 16th, 6:30-8:30 (Performance May 18th).
Back by popular demand! Over the course of the semester students will work on a comedic murder mystery play, focusing on creating crazy characters and working together to bring the play to life. Students always have a blast in this class discovering the personality of their characters and trying to look as innocent as possible! The play title is flexible based on how many students enroll. This class fills quickly so register ASAP!
