MAD updates!!!!

Posted on Sep 14, 2011

I hope that you are all enjoying this warm weather while it lasts smile We are getting the ball rolling here and planning all of the amazing details of our classes. I am especially excited about all of the under the sea crafts!!!!

We are having our first board meeting of the year tonight and are super stoked to welcome Traci Shed and Grant Logan to our board of directors. Their positive influence in mentoring or teens in this summer’s production of “The Wiz” was wonderful and we cannot wait to have their support in all that we do as an organization.

Just in case you have forgotten…it’s time to register for fall classes! Young MAD* (ages 4-5), Young Actors (Ages 6-8), Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka, Kids! (Ages 8-12), Comedy and Musical Comedy Improv (Ages 9-18) and a Murder Mystery…”The Last Dance of Dr. Disco”!!! (Ages 12-18).

Know somebody interested in taking a class but is a little scared and wants to see what it’s about first? This year on Saturday October 1st, here in our classroom (Suite 310 in the New Union Center for the Arts), we are having an open house where we will demonstrate 3 of our most popular classes: Young MAD* (1-1:45), Young Actors (2-2:45), and Comedy Improv (3-3:45). It is totally free (although please call us to let us know you plan on coming, thank you!) and there will be SNACKS! I don’t know about you…but nothing beats a free MAD* Factory class AND snacks. Whether you are ‘new to NUCA’ or an experienced MAD* Factory family, all are welcome to come check it out!
