First Friday Comedy Improv - 2011/2012

When:  The 1st Friday of every month from 7:00 to 9:00pm, October 7 - May 4, 2012.

Venue: First Church, 106 North Main St., corner of Main St.(Route 58) and Lorain St.(Route 511) in Oberlin.

Cost: Admission is free with donations gratefully accepted. We will also take donations of nonperishable food items and personal hygiene items for Oberlin Community Services.

If you like to laugh, bring the whole family to be entertained by our talented improvisational troupe. All performances will be in the Fellowship Hall except for November & December, when we’ll be in the Meeting House. Seating is first come first served, doors open 1/2 hour before the show.

Wayside School was supposed to be one story high, with 30 classrooms side by side. Instead, the classrooms were stacked on top of each other ‘til the school was 30 stories high. (The architect said he was sorry!) This topsy-turvy farce is filled with crazy characters, outrageous humor and more than a touch of the Twilight Zone! From the award winning series by the author of Holes!

Performances will be held at the following locations: March 1st: Carlisle Visitors Center, 12882 Diagonal Rd., LaGrange, at 7pm. March 2 thru 4, First Church in Oberlin, 106 N. Main St., Oberlin. Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm, Sunday at 2:00pm March 9th: TBD March 10th, Christ Lutheran Church, 4501 Clinton Ave. Lorain, 44055 March 11th: TBD
