REGISTRATION OPENING OCTOBER 15! ONLY 6 SPOTS AVAILABLE.
In this long-term, virtual class we will be working together with students from Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra Lab Group to create a musical! Orchestra students will compose the music, and our group will work on the script and lyrics. Students will also be performing in the final product! The musical will be videorecorded by participants at home for safety. This expereince is facilitated by Nina Fisher, Program Director of Mad Factory, and Colin Holter, Executive Director of NOYO. The class will be every other Sunday afternoon until 2021, when it will be sometimes on Sundays and sometimes on Monday evenings, based on student availability. This is a group that will work closely together with eachother and also with NOYO students, so desire to collaborate is a must. Previous participation in any musical and ability to read music is recommended. There will be work to do outside of class time so students must be willing to commit to this project.
