MAD CAMP 2023
MAD* Camp is here! We are now welcoming ages 5 through 14 (entering grades K through 8) to our annual theatre camp where students will prepare short comedic plays for performance. Our counselors will also lead them in acting exercises and games, plus we learn choreography to songs from musical theatre. Traditional camp activities are also offered such as field day, story time, arts and crafts, and our annual water battle! Camp dates are June 12th through 30th, Monday through Friday, 10am-3:30pm, location is New Union Center for the Arts in Oberlin. There is a final showcase for families the evening of June 30th.
Early bird price is $350 for the camp, cost increases to $400 after May 1st. 2nd child enrollments are 50% off, 3rd child enrollments are 25% off. We can’t wait to have fun with you this summer!

Nina Fisher
Nina is originally from the Philadelphia area and has been living in Oberlin ever since graduating from Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 2008 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. She started at The MAD* Factory as a stage manager while still in college and has been the Program Director here for 11 years. Nina plays the piano and accompanies the choirs at Firelands and Lorain high schools.

Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Amber is a proud graduate of the Baldwin Wallace Musical Theatre Program, class of 2005. Amber has performed in numerous shows throughout Lorain County and beyond, and loves sharing her love of theatre with all the students that come through The MAD* Factory!

scholarship & aid
Normaly, our policy is if a student qualifies for free or reduced meals at school, they also qualify for a scholarship for classes or camps. Given the outstanding circumstances in this particular year, we are accepting scholarship requests outside of the free/reduced meals guidelines. Please fill out the information below if you would like to be contacted about receiving a camp scholarship (minus $25 registration fee).
